For people who want to learn, even with no experience in coding…
In this 12 week course, we’ll take anyone with basic computer skills from complete beginner to competent full stack junior web developer. It will take a lifetime of practice, self-study, and work to become an expert in development disciplines. Our program is designed to give you the skills to enter the workforce and gain meaningful employment as a web developer.
Why this approach?
20 years ago, knowing one programming language was generally all it took to enter the workforce as a programmer, but today’s web-first environment requires a wide variety of specific, challenging skills to even begin to contribute. Rather than focus on the trendy new frameworks and “language-of-the-minute”, we’ve chosen to approach web development as a discipline from the core fundamentals.
How do we know it works?
Much like work, code boot camp is a full time, monday - friday, 9am - 4pm commitment for 12 weeks.
Our belief is those who put in the work will succeed in learning to code. We’ve designed our boot camp to help you stay on track and show employers they can depend on you. In addition to regular skills assessments, you receive a daily grade in three categories:
Engagement: Did you show up on time, work a full day, and remain attentive?
Completion: Did you complete everything that was expected of you?
Initiative: Did you go beyond the bare minimum in your work?
